The objective of this course is to introduce techniques for
developing
musical
activities in order to enable participants to apply them in the
classroom, while offering opportunities for developing new partnerships and projects
between the participants and their schools.
The course will lead participants to:
- Experience the importance of music making in classroom since early years;
- Get in touch with practical techniques that can easier the approach to music
activities in a group of children and young people;
- Get to know different approaches in music learning;
- Enhance teacher's musicality and empower them to use music in their daily routine;
- Exchange experiences and ideas between the participants;
- Create a network for future projects.
This course will provide the participants opportunities to engage
in
different types of activities such as workshops, team activities, school visits and
reflection and debate activities.
With a special focus on the development of participants' musical skills, we will propose
practical activities that can be replicable in each participant's work context. At all
times, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and reflect on
the
activities in which they participated. In this way, it is intended, on the one hand, to
create a mapping of the procedures implemented in each country and to share examples of
good
practice among all and, on the other, to build knowledge together that will allow all
participants to disseminate ideas in their working environments.
All materials and resources will be shared through the e-Twining platform, building a
network of connections between participants that will enable them to create a portfolio
of
materials and new partnerships to develop future projects.
